What's Included in Our Boiler Service
When you book a service with Osborne Plumbing and Heating, you’re getting a comprehensive inspection—not a quick visual check.
Visual and safety checks come first. We examine the boiler casing, controls, pipework, and flue for any signs of damage, corrosion, or wear. We check the flue is correctly positioned and that combustion gases are venting safely.
Internal inspection follows. We remove the boiler casing to inspect the heat exchanger, burner, electrodes, and seals. Any debris or buildup is cleaned, and worn components are flagged for replacement before they fail.
Performance testing confirms everything is working as it should. We measure gas pressure, check the ignition sequence, verify thermostat operation, and ensure the boiler fires and modulates correctly. We also test safety devices to confirm they’ll shut the system down if anything goes wrong.
Documentation is provided at the end of every service. You’ll receive a full report of what was checked, any issues found, and recommendations for future attention.
Our standard boiler service costs £70 plus VAT. If we spot anything that needs repair, we’ll give you a clear quote before carrying out any additional work.
